With a background as a Doula, Childbirth Educator, and Postpartum Support Group Leader, Carla is a passionate advocate for maternal mental health and values helping families build strong, connected foundations. Her experience as a community Outreach Worker deepened her belief in the power of empathy, collaboration, and community care.
Carla specializes in postpartum, prenatal, and perinatal counselling, offering compassionate support for individuals and families during big life transitions.
Carla has a special interest in supporting individuals, youth and teens with ADHD to navigate emotional regulation, anxiety, big feelings, and self-growth in their own unique way.
Her work is grounded in Person Centred therapy. Carla integrates a range of effective therapeutic approaches, including Emotionally Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness practices.
