Shanzey Altaf, MA, RCC

Clinical Counsellor

My work is grounded in a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed approach that honours the whole person. I aim to create a collaborative and supportive space where healing goes beyond managing symptoms and moves toward meaningful, lasting growth. I consider the mind, body, and cultural context in our work together, recognizing how identity, relationships, and lived experience shape the healing process.

With a research background focused on how cultural values can shift and evolve throughout the immigration journey, I am especially passionate about supporting immigrants as they navigate the challenges and beauty of building a life in a new place. At the same time, I welcome individuals from all backgrounds who are seeking a supportive space for growth and healing. My intention is to walk alongside you in a process that feels grounded, empowering, and attuned to your whole self.
