Sophia Paczek, MA
Clinical Counsellor
My priority is helping clients feel safe, understood, and supported, without judgment, as they move through life's harder chapters. I take a holistic approach that looks past symptoms alone, because I believe healing happens through mind, body, and spirit together, not one at a time. I use somatic and mindfulness based techniques alongside traditional counselling, and I see every struggle as connected to something bigger: who you are, what you're here for, and how you're connected to the people and world around you.
I work with people of all ages, including kids and teens, drawing on my background in education alongside my counselling training. I support clients navigating relationships, parenting, anxiety and depression, life transitions, career struggles, and biological challenges such as chronic illness, injury, and life threatening illness. I don't just look at what's going wrong. I'm interested in the growth on the other side of it, the version of you that's trying to emerge. That's the heart of my training in transpersonal psychology at Clearmind International: it doesn't stop at the personal self, it makes room for the spiritual and transformative parts of being human too.
My own healing path started young, when I began travelling the world extensively. Those experiences opened something in me, a sense of connection to humanity, to culture, and especially to healing, that goes past anything I could have learned in a classroom alone. That journey has shaped how I show up with clients today. I believe I can only guide someone as deep into their own healing as I've gone into mine. This work is personal to me, not just something I do for a living.
I'd be honoured to walk alongside you as you navigate change, find steadier ground, and reconnect with what matters most to you.
