  • Same-day appointments are released five days in advance.
  • Walk-ins accepted throughout the day, as space allows.

To ensure access for those with urgent, but non-life-threatening concerns, we’ve outlined below what is appropriate for walk-in care — and what is not.

  • These are examples of appropriate issues for same-day fit-in:

    • Urinary tract infection symptoms (e.g., painful urination, frequent urge to urinate)

    • Cough, sore throat, sinus symptoms, fever

    • New skin infections (e.g., cellulitis)

    • Minor injuries or sprains

    • Cuts or lacerations that may need stitches (if not deep or involving tendon/bone)

    • Pink eye or other eye infections

    • New rashes or allergic reactions (without breathing difficulty)

    • Birth control renewals or emergency contraception

    • Acute migraine

    • Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea (without severe dehydration)

    • Minor medication side effects or concerns

    • Liquid Nitrogen

    • Suture Removal

  • For your safety, please go to the emergency department if you experience:

    • Chest pain or pressure

    • Shortness of breath, especially if unable to speak in full sentences

    • Deep cuts involving tendon, bone, or uncontrolled bleeding

    • Suspected stroke or sudden weakness

    • Seizures or new loss of consciousness

    • Head injuries with vomiting or confusion

    • Severe abdominal pain

    • High fever in infants under 3 months

    • Suicidal thoughts or a serious mental health crisis

  • If your concern is chronic or non-urgent, please book a regular appointment. Walk-in visits are not for:

    • Prescription renewals (unless urgently needed)

    • Annual physical exams

    • Chronic pain management

    • Mental health medication follow-up

    • Specialist referrals

    • Pap smears, STI screening (unless symptomatic)

    • Driver’s medicals or forms

    * If your chronic condition is flaring up, we may still be able to help (e.g., asthma flare, COPD exacerbation).

  • We are committed to keeping urgent same-day care accessible. If we identify repeated inappropriate bookings (non-urgent issues or form requests), patients will no longer be permitted to use the walk-in clinic. This policy ensures fair access for those who truly need urgent care.

  • Non-urgent prescription refills are not handled through our walk-in clinic. Please contact your family doctor directly to book an appointment for your refill.

    To avoid running out of medication, book your appointment 2–3 weeks before you need a refill. Taking this step helps us serve you better and ensures you stay on track with your health.
