Johanna Gunn, C.Ped (C)

Johanna has a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia and a post graduate diploma in Pedorthics from the University of Western Ontario. She has had a lifelong interest in the biomechanics of the human body, so the study of Pedorthics was a natural fit. Johanna has been active her whole life, with a great many years spent rowing with UBC's varsity team, then moving on to trail running, mountain biking and hiking.

Pedorthics concentrates on the study and evaluation of human locomotion, focusing primarily on the foot and lower limb anatomy, pathology and biomechanics. Johanna is excited to offer the active Sea to Sky community pedorthic services. These include gait analysis, footwear fitting and custom foot orthotics, as well as refurbishing and adjusting in house. She can also recommend appropriate shoe construction and modifications as needed.
